Terms of Service

Last updated: April 29, 2026

1. Scope and acceptance

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of route2048, including its public pages, authenticated web experience, desktop and mobile clients, generated learning artifacts, chat features, and related billing and support workflows.

By creating an account, accessing the Service, or using any route2048 feature, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. Eligibility and account registration

You must be legally able to enter into this agreement and comply with all laws that apply to you. If you are below the age required to manage your own account in your jurisdiction, a parent or guardian must review and agree to these Terms for you.

You must provide accurate account information and keep it current. route2048 currently uses Auth0 and external identity providers for sign-in flows, so some authentication factors and account recovery settings are managed by those providers.

3. Service access and feature changes

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable permission to use the Service for your personal, educational, or internal business learning workflows, subject to these Terms.

We may update, add, remove, or limit features from time to time. We may also impose usage caps, queueing, or plan-based limits to protect reliability and prevent abuse.

4. User content and permissions

You retain ownership of the prompts, files, notes, source materials, and other content that you submit to route2048. You are responsible for making sure you have the rights needed to upload, process, and ask us to transform that content.

You grant route2048 and its service providers a non-exclusive license to host, copy, store, translate, parse, transform, display, and transmit your content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and support the Service.

5. AI features and generated artifacts

route2048 uses automated systems and model-backed workflows to generate plans, chat responses, summaries, and learning artifacts. Outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or unsuitable for your situation.

You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them. The Service is designed for learning support and is not a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial, academic, or safety advice.

6. Paid plans and billing

Some features require a paid plan. Billing, payment method management, invoices, cancellations, and some subscription changes are handled through Stripe, Stripe Customer Portal, or a successor billing flow that we designate.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Fees are due as described at checkout and are generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise. We may suspend or downgrade access for failed or overdue payments.

7. Acceptable use

You may not:

  • use the Service for illegal, infringing, deceptive, or harmful activity;
  • submit malware, exploit code, credential harvesting, or any material intended to disrupt systems or other users;
  • bypass rate limits, plan restrictions, access controls, billing controls, or safety mechanisms;
  • scrape or extract Service data at scale without our written permission;
  • use the Service or its outputs to impersonate others or violate privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or intellectual property rights;
  • interfere with authentication, security, billing, or reliability of the Service.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, its software, design, branding, documentation, and non-user content are owned by route2048 or its licensors and protected by applicable laws.

Subject to these Terms and any plan limits, you may use generated artifacts and Service outputs for your own learning and internal work. Unless we expressly allow it, you may not resell the Service, white-label outputs as a standalone product, or redistribute protected materials that you do not have rights to share.

9. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, create legal or security risk, fail to pay required fees, or if continued operation of the Service becomes impractical.

After suspension or termination, certain data may remain in backups, billing records, audit logs, and legally required archives for a limited period.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, route2048 disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, route2048 and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising out of or related to the Service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

12. Changes to the Service or these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, law, or our operations. When we make material changes, we will update the date on this page and may provide additional notice when required.
